Only one year after relaunching the last installment of the franchise, Goa Team returns with a remastering of its 2008 title, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. A game that never arrived in the United States when it was launched for Wii, Goa Team is finally ready to take it to a new legion of players. Goa Team has confirmed that Fatal Frame: lunar eclipse mask will arrive in the West on March 9, 2023 . This will be 15 years after the launch of the original game in Japan.
It is worth mentioning that the game is titled Project Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse for the European market. Goa Team has always been a bit weird with the titles.
Although it was announced in the most recent Nintendo Direct presentation, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will not be exclusive to Nintendo Switch. Goa Team has confirmed that it will also be launched on PC, as well as in the current and last generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Since this is the first adequate American version of the game, a launch in numerous consoles will help expand its reach to the widest possible audience.
