Unity Korea will submit a submission of the Unity Engine-based Contents Contest ‘Made with Unity Korea Award 2022 (MWU Korea Awards 2022)’ until August 31st.
The MWU Korea Awards, which celebrated its sixth year this year, was designed to discover excellent Unity engine-based domestic contents and support the success of the project. Unity will directly discover potential creators.
The MWU Korea Awards 2022 will be divided into two areas: games and industrial. ▲ Graphic, profitization ▲ student work ▲ innovation ▲ PC/console ▲ immersion (VR/AR/XR/MR), industrial field ▲ visualization ▲ simulation ▲ immersion (VR/AR/XR/MR) ▲ Media A total of 12 competitions are received, including & Entertainment, anticipation, and student works. This award can be participated by any unity creator living in Korea, and the content that is produced or completed on the basis of Unity engine and is scheduled to be released or released after 2021 is targeted.
The awards will be selected for the top three works by 12 categories, and the grand prize will be selected through the online public voting and selected by the unity internal evaluation committee. The target of the two works will be awarded for 5 million won each and the top award of 12 works, each one million won, and various benefits such as technical consulting by Unity experts, Unity Korea, and the promotion of global channels. Winners will be announced in October after the evaluation committee’s review and public voting on expertise, popularity, and novelty.
In addition, this year, the special award ‘Unity Pick’ is established to support creators who are active in various fields, and to contribute to creating a sustainable society and environment based on ‘Best Indie’ and creativity to revive indie games. The Best Social Impact is also selected. The winners will be awarded a prize of 2 million won, and a variety of support programs will be provided, including the promotion of official Unity Korea channel. In addition, the official sponsor Logitech will set up a Brand Prize to select the Logitech MX Prize and pay a prize of 1 million won.
Unity Korea will hold an early bird event to commemorate the MWU Korea Awards 2022. First of all, 100 studios, which have been completed by July 31st, will provide a set of ‘Ready-to-vacation’ and ‘Back to the Office’. In addition, the lottery will be presented with the Logitech MX mechanical wireless mechanical keyboard and the MX Master 3S wireless mouse.
