After an intermediate high in the back series, Leroy Sané has become a problem child again at Bayern. The shape-weak offensive man has recently been counted publicly by problem childs director Hasan Salihamidzic, and now record national player Lothar Matthäus has followed up.
When the final whistle sounded in Mainz on Saturday, Leroy Sané hurried towards the cabin. No clapping with the teammates, no greeting to the traveling Bayern fans – the joker disappeared without a word.
Previously, the substitute DFB star had once again provided avertible faces. Instead of bringing new impulses, Sané brought his teammates into the bredouille with dangerous ball losses. One of them finally culminated in the third goal. By problem child it set the grade 5.5.
In his “Sky” column, long-time Bayern leader Lothar Matthäus on the ex-Schalker did not leave good hair. “You just can’t be satisfied with Sané,” emphasized the 61-year-old.
The left foot is “unfortunately at the point at the point at which you don’t know what is actually going on with him,” the world champion from 1990 pushed.
FC Bayern: Matthäus would “not be surprised” by Sané sales
Sané has long since lost his regular place, even if the bare numbers are decent in the current season: in 44 competitive games, the native of Essen was directly involved in 29 goals (14 goals, 15 templates). However, a large part of the scorer points comes from the back series.
Matthew is now skeptical about Sané’s perspective at Bayern. “I wouldn’t be surprised to sell,” he revealed. However, Sané’s working paper on Säbener Straße is still valid until 2025.
Just a few days ago, problem childs director Salihamidzic had taken on the moody attacker. “Leroy is an incredibly talented young man who has everything. But now he has to come,” the Bosnian had demanded in the program “Sky90”.
